Olah Light

Olah Light

Olah Light is an innovative wall sconce luminaire that exemplifies the convergence of engineering ingenuity and aesthetic refinement in contemporary lighting design. Created by designers Maurice Dery and Jordan Dery, this sophisticated lighting fixture employs a circline fluorescent bulb as an integral element of its design composition, distinguished by its remarkable versatility in mounting options and complete absence of visible fasteners. The fixture's engineering excellence is demonstrated through its uniquely designed universal bulb holder and mounting system, enabling four distinct installation configurations that effectively transform a single product into multiple lighting solutions. The design process involved extensive computer-aided drafting and precision CNC machining of billet aluminum components, culminating in a meticulously assembled and certified product. The sconce's dimensions vary based on installation orientation, ranging from 228.6mm x 276.3mm to 203.2mm x 324.5mm, offering adaptability to diverse spatial requirements. The fixture's innovative mounting system utilizes a specially engineered bracket and concealed set screw mechanism, ensuring seamless integration with standard octagonal junction boxes while maintaining its clean, minimalist aesthetic. This groundbreaking design, which harmoniously combines technological innovation with sophisticated aesthetics, earned recognition through a Golden A' Design Award in the Lighting Products and Fixtures Design category, acknowledging its significant contribution to advancing the boundaries of lighting design and manufacturing excellence.
