OHO Lentil Chips Chips Packaging

OHO Lentil Chips Chips Packaging is an innovative packaging design solution that exemplifies a strategic approach to healthier snack positioning in the contemporary food market. This distinctive packaging design, created in 2020, represents a paradigm shift in snack packaging aesthetics by deliberately departing from the category's conventional use of vibrant, intense colors. The design employs a sophisticated combination of craft paper texture elements and smooth pastel colors to communicate naturalness and health-consciousness, while maintaining strong shelf appeal. The packaging's dimensions of 190 x 250 x 50 mm are optimized for standard polypropylene snack bags, featuring a unique three-element design approach that integrates illustrated graphic elements, high-quality photographic imagery of flavoring ingredients, and textural components. The design's execution through flexography with paper touch varnish creates a tactile experience that reinforces the product's natural positioning. This packaging solution, which earned the Bronze A' Design Award in the Packaging Design Category, successfully addresses the challenge of distinguishing a healthier snack alternative in a crowded marketplace while maintaining appeal to younger demographics. The design's strategic use of kraft paper background elements creates a distinctive presence among conventional snack packaging, while illustrated graphics establish an emotional connection with consumers. The integration of professional food photography for flavor communication maintains appetite appeal, resulting in a cohesive design that effectively balances health-conscious positioning with commercial viability.
