Office Tower Facade Lighting is an architectural illumination design concept that transforms commercial high-rise structures through strategic deployment of artificial lighting systems on building exteriors. This sophisticated approach to architectural lighting exemplifies the intersection of aesthetic enhancement and functional illumination, particularly demonstrated in a 20-floor commercial tower in Shanghai's CaoHeJing district. The design philosophy centers on the concept of One Cube – One Reflection, utilizing specialized 360-degree LED projectors mounted at the base of each bay to create a luminous latticework effect. The innovative lighting scheme employs a distinctive blue-lit band positioned at the tenth floor, effectively bisecting the structure and creating a mirror effect between the upper and lower portions of the building. This architectural lighting solution demonstrates advanced technical implementation through precisely positioned luminaires that illuminate each square bay from within, making the aluminum facade appear internally lit while maintaining clean, elegant aesthetics. The design's sophistication lies in its careful consideration of light control, preventing interference with interior spaces while enhancing the building's architectural features. The lighting system incorporates programmable animations that evolve around the central blue band, creating dynamic visual effects that transform the building's nighttime presence while respecting its scale and proportion.
