Odgen Credenza Cabinet

Odgen Credenza Cabinet

Odgen Credenza Cabinet is an innovative furniture piece designed by Carolina Arsad that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of traditional Indonesian design elements with contemporary functionality. Created in 2021, this sophisticated storage solution features a distinctive curvilinear form crafted from premium sungkai wood, complemented by terrazzo accents and brushed bronze details, embodying both aesthetic refinement and sustainable design principles. The credenza's dimensions of 1200 x 500 x 800 millimeters are carefully calculated to ensure optimal ergonomic functionality while maintaining a commanding presence in any interior space. Its design philosophy centers on the concept of 'flow,' reflecting the dynamic nature of modern living through an artful combination of organic shapes and carefully selected materials. The cabinet's construction demonstrates exceptional craftsmanship in its seamless integration of contrasting elements, with the warm tones of sungkai wood harmonizing with the textural intrigue of terrazzo and the sophisticated gleam of brushed bronze hardware. This versatile piece, which earned recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in the Furniture Design category in 2022, serves multiple storage purposes while functioning as a striking decorative element suitable for residential or commercial environments. The design's emphasis on sustainability, coupled with its practical storage solutions and timeless aesthetic appeal, represents a thoughtful response to contemporary living requirements while honoring Indonesian cultural heritage.
