Odaya Home Packaging is an award-winning luxury packaging design that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of traditional craftsmanship and contemporary aesthetics in home textile presentation. Created in 2023, this sophisticated packaging solution features a distinctive white box adorned with an elegant golden peacock motif, symbolizing guardianship of the home and reflecting centuries-old textile traditions. The design's primary innovation lies in its transformation of traditional lace-making patterns into a refined golden web of peacock feathers, creating a visual narrative that connects artisanal heritage with modern luxury presentation. The packaging system comprises two sizes of boxes with precisely calculated dimensions, incorporating multiple refined elements including gold foil stamping, custom-printed tissue paper, and branded ribbons. The larger box measures 430mm x 100mm x 380mm with a 50mm lid height, while the smaller variant measures 340mm x 240mm x 35mm with a 20mm lid height. The design, which garnered an Iron A' Design Award in the Packaging Design category, demonstrates exceptional attention to detail in its execution, from the carefully chosen materials to the integration of brand storytelling elements on the interior of the lid. The packaging's reusability aspect adds sustainable value, allowing it to serve as a keepsake box for preserving memories and collectibles, while its overall aesthetic successfully communicates the premium nature of the artisanal bed linen products it contains. The development process, spanning from June 2022 to March 2023, involved extensive research into European heritage ornaments and textile craftsmanship techniques, resulting in a design that effectively bridges traditional artisanal values with contemporary luxury market demands.
