Od Ana Lighting

Od Ana Lighting

Od Ana Lighting is an innovative lighting design that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of simplicity, functionality, and artisanal craftsmanship. Created by Turkish designer Cenk Ahmet Kaya, this versatile illumination solution embodies a minimalist aesthetic while offering remarkable adaptability through its anthropomorphic structure. The design, which earned a Bronze A' Design Award in the Lighting Products and Fixtures Design category, features a sophisticated composition of meticulously handcrafted components, including heat-treated beech wood and stainless steel, assembled by skilled artisans. Its distinctive articulated structure and adjustable legs enable multiple configurations, allowing it to function as a desk lamp, table lamp, or floor lamp according to user preferences. The lamp's construction showcases exceptional attention to detail, incorporating wood spindle moulding techniques for the light box and wood-turning lathe work for the cylindrical base legs, finished with water-based varnish to enhance the natural beauty of the spruce wood. The design's thoughtful engineering extends to its packaging, which transforms into functional storage elements, demonstrating a holistic approach to sustainable design. Technical specifications include dimensions of 387mm height, 235mm length, and 218mm width, with a weight of 2 kg and compatibility with E27 LED bulbs operating at 220-240V/50-60Hz. The lamp's development, spanning from March 2020 to January 2021, reflects a meticulous research and refinement process, resulting in a limited-edition product that challenges contemporary mass-production paradigms while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
