Ocean One Sale Center is an innovative architectural and interior design project located in Shanghai, China, representing a sophisticated transformation of a public space within a residential community into a premium showroom facility. This 600-square-meter renovation project, designed by Kris Lin and Jiayu Yang, exemplifies a masterful integration of interior and exterior spaces through advanced architectural techniques inspired by Mies van der Rohe's construction principles. The design's distinctive feature lies in its revolutionary approach to spatial boundaries, utilizing extensive glass curtain walls and rimless glass installations to create a seamless visual connection between indoor and outdoor environments. The project's sophisticated water feature system extends from the exterior through the glass curtain wall to an indoor pool, with an architectural bridge serving as a connecting element to the outdoor landscape. The designers retained the original structural elements while reimagining the outer skin, paying particular attention to the harmonious integration of indoor spaces with the surrounding landscape.
