Ocean Current Residential is an award-winning interior design project that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of natural elements with contemporary architectural aesthetics. Located at the Aihe River estuary, this leisure residence masterfully integrates the surrounding landscape into its interior spaces through thoughtful design elements and material selection. The project's distinctive features include a sophisticated interplay of black and white contrasts, complemented by a careful combination of wood, stone, and iron materials. The design's signature element is its innovative use of curved surfaces throughout the space, creating a fluid, wave-like aesthetic that pays homage to its waterfront location. The living areas are characterized by an open-plan layout with composite functional spaces, featuring custom-designed furniture and architectural elements that incorporate arc-shaped beams to create dynamic ceiling heights. The project demonstrates exceptional attention to detail in its material execution, particularly in the wooden flooring's varying grain textures that subtly delineate different functional zones, while marble surfaces and black iron accents introduce elements of industrial sophistication.
