Ocean Coral Show Flat

Ocean Coral Show Flat

Ocean Coral Show Flat is an award-winning residential interior design project completed in Hong Kong that exemplifies contemporary luxury living through thoughtful space optimization and sophisticated aesthetic choices. Conceived and executed by design director Kim Wong in 2019, this innovative residential showcase comprises two distinct units: a 299-square-foot one-bedroom layout and a 421-square-foot two-bedroom configuration. The design's distinguishing feature is its masterful incorporation of the Living Coral color theme, which serves as a focal point throughout the space, complemented by champagne gold mirror installations and bronze stainless steel accents. The project demonstrates exceptional space utilization through an open-plan concept, featuring a remarkable double-sided art piece shelf that functions as both a room divider and decorative element. The interior's sophisticated ambiance is achieved through the harmonious integration of Italian furniture, decorative champagne gold mirrors, and wooden strip feature walls, creating a luxurious yet practical living environment. The design particularly excels in its multi-functional approach to space utilization, incorporating large-scale mirror installations to create an enhanced sense of spaciousness. This innovative approach to contemporary urban living earned the project an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category in 2020, recognizing its excellence in addressing the challenges of modern city living while maintaining high aesthetic standards. The design successfully caters to young professionals and couples, offering a sophisticated interpretation of urban living that balances functionality with elegant design elements.
