Obsessive Love Film Festival Website

Obsessive Love Film Festival Website is an innovative digital platform designed to celebrate the cinematic works of Alfred Hitchcock, with a particular focus on the theme of voyeurism prevalent throughout his filmography. Created by Min Huei Lu, this Bronze A' Design Award-winning interface masterfully translates the psychological complexity of Hitchcock's narrative style into a compelling user experience. The website, designed with dimensions of 1920px X 1080px, incorporates sophisticated visual elements that mirror the perspective of a voyeur, effectively immersing visitors in the unsettling world of obsessive observation characteristic of Hitchcock's films. The design systematically integrates five selected films through a cohesive visual language and interconnected design deliverables, creating an integrated digital ecosystem that explores the human fascination with watching and surveillance. The interface design deliberately incorporates elements that reference the physical tools of voyeurism - from binoculars to pocket knives - transforming these motifs into interactive design elements that enhance user engagement. Developed using Adobe XD and Photoshop, the website's architecture carefully balances aesthetic appeal with functional navigation, offering visitors a unique perspective on the psychological themes of ownership, dark empowerment, and murderous intent that characterize these classic films. The project, completed between March and June 2019 in San Francisco, demonstrates exceptional attention to user interface design, content relevance, and visual aesthetics, earning recognition at the prestigious A' Design Award competition in the Website and Web Design category. This digital platform stands as a testament to the possibility of translating complex cinematic themes into interactive digital experiences, while maintaining the psychological tension and artistic integrity of the source material.
