Oasis EV Charger is an innovative electric vehicle charging solution that reimagines the conventional charging experience through its integration of portable power modules and gamified user interactions. Designed by Yang Feiya, Fan Xujuan, and Wu Chunmao, this sophisticated charging system stands at 1700mm in height with a 350mm square base, incorporating advanced features that address both practical and experiential aspects of electric vehicle charging. The design's distinctive characteristic lies in its three-degree portable power module system, which enables users to detach power units for remote charging scenarios such as outdoor camping or emergency situations. The charging station employs a unique gamification approach to user interaction, where each charging session contributes to a virtual garden ecosystem, transforming the routine charging process into an engaging digital experience. The interface displays various plant species that grow and evolve during the charging process, creating a personalized digital oasis for each user. Constructed with high-quality materials including TPE insulation layers, high-strength nylon, and PC components, the design emphasizes both durability and aesthetic appeal. The system's innovative approach to charging infrastructure earned recognition at the A' Design Award competition, receiving an Iron A' Design Award in the Energy Products, Projects and Devices Design category, acknowledging its contribution to advancing sustainable energy solutions.
