This comprehensive system comprises four distinct components inspired by fruits and vegetables: a carrot-shaped device for occlusion and oral muscle training, a Chinese cabbage-shaped unit for lip muscle development, a corn-shaped implement for tongue muscle exercises, and a pea pod-shaped apparatus for airflow control. Crafted from food-grade silicone and ABS plastic, these devices transform traditional speech therapy tools into engaging, child-friendly instruments that combine functionality with playful aesthetics. The design represents a significant advancement in pediatric speech therapy, addressing the growing prevalence of articulation disorders while considering the limited availability of speech-language pathologists. Each component is meticulously engineered with specific dimensional requirements and surface treatments, featuring baking paint with plain glass and partial matte finishes to ensure both safety and durability. The project, which earned a Silver A' Design Award in the Baby, Kids and Children's Products Design category, demonstrates exceptional attention to therapeutic efficacy while maintaining child-appropriate design elements. The system's development involved extensive consultation with speech-language pathologists and careful consideration of factors such as material selection, ergonomic design, and interactive feedback mechanisms, making it suitable for both clinical and home use.
