Nomura 2019 Calendar Desktop Calendar

Nomura 2019 Calendar Desktop Calendar is an innovative desktop calendar design that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of modern aesthetics and luxury styling through sophisticated printing techniques. This meticulously crafted corporate calendar, designed by Caxton Chung, features a distinctive three-month planner layout that prioritizes user functionality while maintaining visual elegance. The design incorporates three different paper types: dual-layered 270gsm Oxford Black for the cover, 270gsm Oxford Peace for calendar pages, and 150gsm Gilclear for content pages, creating a sophisticated interplay of textures and transparency. The calendar's dimensions of 255mm x 175mm x 20mm were strategically chosen to optimize shipping efficiency while maintaining professional presentation. Distinguished by its innovative approach to information hierarchy, the design separates different content types through varied paper stocks and employs embossing techniques to present secondary visual elements, while essential information is printed directly. The cover features a repetitive pattern that reinforces brand identity, while bronze accents, including binding rings and hot stamping, enhance its premium appeal. The calendar's stand extends 7mm beyond the page dimensions, creating a subtle frame that guides visual focus within the minimal layout. This thoughtful design, which won a Bronze A' Design Award in the Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design category, demonstrates exceptional attention to both practical functionality and aesthetic refinement, particularly in its solution to presenting complex information through a user-friendly arrangement of national holidays and office locations across global time zones.
