Nine Begonia Reception Center is an innovative interior design project located in Jiujiang, Jiangxi Province, China, that reimagines the traditional concept of a sales center by creating a unique seed museum experience that harmoniously caters to both adults and children. Completed in 2020, this 1,350-square-meter space masterfully integrates natural elements with contemporary design principles to create an immersive environment that promotes environmental awareness and childhood discovery. The center's distinctive design features include a striking golden-ribbon-shaped reception counter that serves as a visual guide through the space, and an arc-shaped ceiling in the property model display area enhanced by lighting membrane technology to simulate natural daylight. The interior design demonstrates exceptional attention to material selection, incorporating environmentally friendly and child-safe materials throughout, with wood-toned walls emphasizing the natural aesthetic and gray terrazzo flooring providing visual continuity. A notable focal point is the sophisticated white coffee bar in the negotiation area, completely adorned with BISAZZA mosaic, creating a cloud-like sculptural element that enhances the museum-like atmosphere. The project, which earned a Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, showcases innovative solutions to artificial lighting challenges through careful consideration of the interplay between light, space, materials, and color. This thoughtful approach creates comfortable user experiences while compensating for limited natural light availability. The design successfully bridges commercial functionality with educational and experiential elements, setting a new standard for multi-purpose reception spaces.
