NFLxFIT Event Visual System Design

NFLxFIT Event Visual System Design

NFLxFIT Event Visual System Design is a sophisticated visual identity system that exemplifies the convergence of professional sports and fashion design through a meticulously crafted visual language. The system's primary visual element, known as shield x dot, draws inspiration from the distinctive logos of two major institutions in sports and fashion education, creating a harmonious fusion of their visual identities. This comprehensive design system incorporates a secondary element consisting of a grey pattern that ingeniously integrates iconic shapes extracted from all 32 professional football team logos, demonstrating remarkable attention to detail and strategic visual synthesis. Developed through a rigorous creative process spanning from January to April 2017, the system represents a sophisticated unification of multiple organizational identities through a symphony of shapes, successfully addressing the challenge of bridging distinct brand identities while maintaining visual coherence. The design system's versatility is evident in its application across various media, from outdoor signage to event collateral, creating an immersive experiential graphic design experience for event attendees. The project, which garnered a Silver A' Design Award in the Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design category, showcases exceptional technical execution through the utilization of advanced design software and augmented reality technology, incorporating both digital and physical implementations. This innovative approach to visual system design demonstrates how contemporary design solutions can effectively unite diverse brand identities while maintaining professional sophistication and visual appeal, setting new standards for event-based visual communication systems.
