Nest Office is an innovative interior design project that exemplifies the harmonious integration of corporate identity, environmental consciousness, and functional workspace design. Located in Taipei, this 460-square-meter commercial office space transformation employs a sophisticated design language centered around the concept of a nest, symbolizing both stability and flight. The focal point of the design is an impressive installation artwork crafted from recycled stainless steel tubes, creating a striking visual element in the reception area that reflects the interplay between industrialization and nature. The space features a thoughtfully curated material palette including white marble, spray-painted glass, timber veneer, and mirrors, while incorporating a world map composed of English text at the entrance to articulate the corporate vision. The design, which won an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, successfully addresses the challenges of a curtain-wall glass building by transforming structural columns into tree-shaped elements that serve both aesthetic and functional purposes. The open-plan layout promotes optimal workplace interaction through low partitions and clear glass divisions, while the Nordic-styled recreational areas provide essential breaks in the professional environment. The design's sophisticated approach to space planning includes dedicated areas for product display, archived storage systems, and efficient workflow management, all while maintaining a cohesive visual narrative that reflects the company's commitment to environmental sustainability and global cooperation.
