Nature And Melody Residence

Nature And Melody Residence

Nature and Melody Residence is an award-winning residential interior design project that exemplifies the harmonious integration of forest-inspired elements with contemporary living spaces. Located in Taiwan, this 229-square-meter private residence masterfully combines natural aesthetics with sophisticated functionality, featuring textured slate walls, natural wood elements, and minimalist design principles. The project, completed in 2020 by designer Wei Keng Lee, demonstrates exceptional spatial planning through its thoughtful integration of living areas and specialized zones, including a notable wine-tasting space. The interior architecture employs a refined palette of gray tones and wood finishes, enhanced by innovative lighting solutions such as a soft ceiling with strip lighting that creates varying atmospheric conditions. Distinguished by its unique approach to spatial hierarchy, the design incorporates black handmade textured tile flooring elevated by natural solid wood curved steps, while wooden adjustable window blinds maintain both aesthetic continuity and practical functionality. The residence received recognition through a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its outstanding achievement in creating a space that seamlessly blends natural elements with modern living requirements. The design's particular attention to detail is evident in features such as the strategically placed sleeper seat at the gateway, which serves as a transitional element between the entrance and living room, while the dining area showcases sophisticated stone-textured walls and archway elements that create an ambiance reminiscent of a wine cellar.
