Nad Al Hammar Private Residence Private Residence
Nad Al Hammar Private Residence Private Residence is an exemplary contemporary architectural project located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, situated just ten minutes from the iconic Burj Khalifa. This sophisticated residential villa, recognized with a Bronze A' Design Award in Architecture, Building and Structure Design category, encompasses a built-up area of 5,400 square feet (500 square meters) on a 9,688 square feet (900 square meters) plot. The residence embodies a harmonious blend of modern lifestyle requirements and architectural innovation, featuring a striking double-height volume that enhances spatial dynamics. The design incorporates advanced technological elements including smart walls for customizable space layouts, an infinity plunge pool that serves both aesthetic and functional purposes, and forward-thinking amenities such as electric car charging facilities and a drone delivery pod. The two-level structure houses four en-suite bedrooms with full-height glazing, maximizing natural daylight while maintaining privacy. The architectural concept draws inspiration from the notion of creating a contemporary sanctuary, with water features at the entrance symbolizing purification and transition from urban stress to private refuge. The design demonstrates exceptional consideration for regional climate challenges through careful orientation and material selection, while the integration of outdoor seating areas in both front and back elevations promotes indoor-outdoor living. The residence's dimensions of 24500mm x 19500mm x 8900mm were carefully calculated to optimize space utilization and environmental performance. The project, which emerged from extensive research into contemporary minimalist approaches, exemplifies the successful integration of clean lines, spacious volumes, and sustainable design principles, earning recognition in the A' Design Award competition for its innovative approach to modern residential architecture.
