Mysterious Game Restaurant Restaurant is an innovative architectural interior design project completed in 2016, situated within a formerly dilapidated industrial plant in Shenzhen, China. This multifunctional 600-square-meter establishment represents a sophisticated fusion of dining, café culture, musical entertainment, and mystical elements through its incorporation of Tarot card reading spaces. The design philosophy draws profound inspiration from Gothic architectural elements, reimagining them through a contemporary lens while maintaining respect for classical architectural principles. The space's aesthetic is characterized by its strategic use of pale gray concrete interiors, which not only served practical construction constraints but also contributed to the mysterious ambiance central to the design concept. The project, which earned a Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, showcases an innovative approach to modern hospitality design by integrating pre-spirituality concepts with practical spatial solutions. The interior's material palette includes oak wood finishing, steel tubing, MDF, timber flooring, and cement walls, creating a cohesive environment that balances atmospheric design with functionality. Despite facing challenges of budget limitations and a compressed construction timeline, the design team successfully created an environmentally conscious space that transcends traditional restaurant conventions, offering visitors a unique multisensory experience that combines culinary, social, and spiritual elements in a single venue.
