Move Residential

Move Residential

Move Residential is an award-winning interior design project that exemplifies modern residential space optimization, completed in November 2022 in Taoyuan, Taiwan. This 132.232-square-meter residential space masterfully integrates child-centric design principles with sophisticated aesthetic elements, featuring a thoughtfully curated color palette dominated by white with strategic incorporations of black, gray, and dark wooden textures. The design's distinctive approach to spatial planning prioritizes ideal movement flows, enhanced lighting solutions, and comprehensive security features while addressing practical storage needs. Notable technical innovations include the integration of a recessed projector screen storage compartment, cleverly concealing exposed pipes through curved ceiling designs, and the implementation of Italian paint finishes that offer superior resistance to dirt, mildew, and cracking. The project's commitment to sustainability is evident in its strategic use of LED and natural lighting to minimize energy consumption. The design vocabulary emphasizes curved elements to soften traditionally rigid spatial boundaries, particularly evident in the overhanging cabinets designed to enhance child safety. The space successfully creates a home theater ambience while maintaining a bright, tranquil atmosphere through sophisticated lighting elements and material selections. This exemplary work in residential interior design was recognized with a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its innovative approach to modern living spaces that seamlessly blend functionality with aesthetic refinement.
