More Care Backup Sanitary Pads/ Tampons

More care Backup Sanitary Pads/ Tampons is an innovative personal care design solution that addresses the crucial need for emergency menstrual products through a discreet and practical approach. This thoughtfully conceived design, created by Chang Hung Yu and Hsu Hsiao Wen, transforms essential feminine hygiene products into an accessible, portable format that can be carried as an ornament or keyring. The design emerged from comprehensive research involving 100 Asian females aged 18-30, which revealed that even conscientious individuals sometimes face unexpected situations without access to necessary sanitary products. The product features a waterproof ABS shell with dimensions of approximately 50x50mm and 10mm thickness, incorporating a hygienic plastic film seal to maintain product integrity. The container is purposefully designed in two distinct shapes - rectangular for tampons and square for sanitary pads - to accommodate different product types while maintaining discretion. This innovative design, which won the Iron A' Design Award in the Beauty, Personal Care and Cosmetic Products Design category, represents a significant advancement in addressing menstrual health management. The disposable nature of the container ensures optimal hygiene, while its aesthetic integration into everyday accessories removes stigma and promotes accessibility. The design's consideration extends beyond individual users to include thoughtful partners and friends who might carry these backup products, fostering a more supportive and understanding social environment regarding menstrual health needs.
