The structure, completed in 2012, represents a remarkable achievement in integrating modern industrial architecture with historical context, featuring a sophisticated two-floor layout predominantly situated underground, encompassing 1,200 square meters of floor space. The design philosophy emphasizes transparency and humility, creating a seamless connection between industrial functionality and museum-like aesthetics. Distinguished by its green roof design that maintains the existing streetscape, the winery incorporates local stone materials in lighter, whitish shades to differentiate new structures from historical elements. The facility's linear organization follows a clear technological order, with industrial spaces serving as exhibition halls for high-tech winemaking equipment against minimalist backgrounds. A significant feature is its integration with a 2-kilometer-long traditional cellar system, offering visitors a comprehensive journey from modern production areas to historical storage spaces. The design, recognized with a Bronze A' Design Award in the Architecture, Building and Structure Design category, successfully addresses the challenge of displaying industrial processes as exhibition elements while maintaining operational efficiency. The winery's architectural approach emphasizes sustainability and cultural sensitivity, utilizing natural materials and incorporating innovative features such as luminous ceiling elements and strategic skylights to delineate functional spaces.
