Mono Pizza Brand Identity is an innovative visual communication design project that artfully merges classical art references with contemporary branding elements, created by Ukrainian designer Irina Kolosovska in 2022. The identity system draws inspiration from Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa, cleverly incorporating monoline art techniques to create a distinctive visual language that elevates pizza-making to an artistic endeavor. The design employs a minimalist approach utilizing a carefully selected three-color palette to achieve maximum visual impact while maintaining clarity and sophistication. The project's cornerstone is its logo design, which ingeniously combines the iconic Mona Lisa's enigmatic expression with pizza-related imagery, executed through precise vector illustrations using Adobe Creative Suite. The comprehensive brand identity encompasses various touchpoints, including packaging design for pizza boxes measuring 320x320x40mm, featuring Pantone ink printing for color consistency. This Bronze A' Design Award-winning project in the Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design category demonstrates exceptional creativity in its conceptual approach, combining historical art references with modern design sensibilities.
