Modern Tonality Interior Design Of Residence

Modern Tonality Interior Design of Residence is an award-winning architectural interior design project that exemplifies contemporary residential space planning through its sophisticated approach to comfort and aesthetics. Created by designer Che-Tsung Chang, this 202-square-meter residence masterfully balances elegance with functionality through its thoughtful implementation of simple, unadorned materials and delicate artistry. The design philosophy centers on creating a comfortable atmosphere with a distinct human touch, achieved through a harmonious color palette of blue, white, and gray, complemented by strategic warm-colored accents. The space's innovative layout features interconnected rooms with privacy solutions through foldable doors and short walls, while the sophisticated use of natural materials including stone, wood, and metals creates a cohesive design language throughout. The project, completed in November 2014 in Taichung City, Taiwan, demonstrates exceptional attention to natural lighting, with carefully considered arrangements that transform the space's character from extroverted in summer to introverted in winter, reflecting the dynamic personality of its female owner. The design earned recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its excellence in spatial planning, material selection, and innovative approach to modern residential design. The project's success lies in its ability to create multiple spatial interactions through diverse rhythms between users, colors, and space, effectively composing different atmospheric experiences throughout the residence while maintaining a consistent design narrative that emphasizes both functionality and aesthetic refinement.
