Modern Mansion In City Interior Space

Modern Mansion in City Interior Space is an exemplary residential interior design project that demonstrates the successful transformation of a 1,900-square-foot apartment into a contemporary, open-plan living environment that embodies the grandeur of mansion living within an urban context. This innovative interior renovation project, which earned a Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, showcases a masterful approach to spatial reorganization through the strategic removal of traditional walls and wooden partitions, creating a unified and expansive atmosphere. The design's primary focus revolves around maximizing spatial efficiency while maintaining functionality, achieved through the implementation of transparent partitions and thoughtfully positioned furniture that serves as subtle space dividers. A notable feature is the sophisticated open kitchen, complete with a three-meter-length bar table that serves as both a functional cooking space and a social hub, complemented by designer pendant lighting over the dining area that creates a striking focal point. The project's architectural intervention extends to the innovative use of a French-made ceiling range hood, two-sided display cabinets, and half-length clear glass partitions between levels, allowing natural light to permeate throughout the space. The design philosophy prioritizes the balance between openness and privacy, incorporating an open-plan study room with glass panels that maintains visual connectivity while preserving functional separation. This transformation, completed over seven months, represents a significant achievement in urban residential design, demonstrating how traditional apartment spaces can be reimagined to create a luxurious, mansion-like atmosphere that caters to modern living requirements while enhancing family interaction and social engagement.
