Modern Life Residential Space

Modern Life Residential Space

Modern Life Residential Space is an award-winning residential interior design project that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of American urban style and European new classical aesthetics, completed in Taiwan in early 2020. This sophisticated 182-square-foot living space, designed by Wang Yu Chih, demonstrates exceptional attention to spatial flow and family interaction through thoughtful architectural elements and material selection. The design's distinctive features include a meticulously crafted entrance with elegant color compositions, symbolic fireplace installation, and symmetrical book walls that create an inviting atmosphere in the living room. The project's innovative approach to spatial organization incorporates half-height entrance walls and clear glass partitions between living and study areas, promoting visual connectivity while maintaining functional independence. Environmental consciousness is evident in the selection of zero formaldehyde oak wood flooring and eco-friendly paint finishes, reflecting a commitment to sustainable urban living. The kitchen and dining areas showcase particular ingenuity through sliding door mechanisms that allow for flexible space configuration, enabling both open-plan living and private dining experiences. The design earned recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its excellence in combining practical functionality with aesthetic refinement. The project's success lies in its thoughtful integration of modern amenities with classical design elements, creating an environment that promotes family interaction while maintaining individual privacy, ultimately delivering a sophisticated living space that balances luxury with sustainability.
