Modern Kingdom Residential Space

Modern Kingdom Residential Space

Modern Kingdom Residential Space is an exemplary residential interior design project that masterfully demonstrates the harmonious fusion of modern luxury and functional living within a 66.1 square meter space. Completed in May 2020 in New Taipei City, Taiwan, this sophisticated dwelling showcases an elegant spatial composition defined by a refined color palette of black, white, and grey tones, creating an atmosphere of tranquility and contemporary sophistication. The design, conceived by Te-Chih Lo and Jia-Ru Chen, employs advanced craftsmanship to deconstruct traditional luxury elements through a modern lens, incorporating imported tiles with powder coating, wooden geometric forms enhanced by Lotos plaster, and metallic molding to create distinctive layered elements throughout the space. The project's innovative approach to spatial design offers dynamic perspectives that shift with movement, allowing residents to experience varying observations between static and dynamic viewpoints. The interior architecture demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, featuring systematic cabinetry crafted from renewable green materials and eco-friendly, low-formaldehyde paints, reflecting a commitment to sustainable design practices. The space planning prioritizes the inhabitants' lifestyle patterns and spiritual well-being, effectively expanding the perceived spatial dimensions through thoughtful design interventions. This project, which earned the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category in 2021, exemplifies how contemporary residential design can successfully balance aesthetic refinement with practical functionality while maintaining environmental consciousness.
