Modern Haussmanien Apartment Residential Apartment

Modern Haussmanien Apartment Residential Apartment is an innovative residential interior design project that masterfully blends classical Haussmannian architectural elements with contemporary living requirements in a Hong Kong metropolis setting. This 902-square-foot apartment represents a sophisticated reinterpretation of traditional Parisian design aesthetics, adapted for modern urban living. The design philosophy centers on simplifying and modernizing quintessential Haussmannian features while maintaining their elegant essence, incorporating simplified moldings, trims, and architectural details throughout the space. The layout optimization demonstrates exceptional space utilization, featuring a seamlessly integrated hidden door connecting living and dining areas, and an intelligently reconfigured master bedroom that incorporates previously underutilized corridor space. Distinguished by its careful selection of materials, including wood borders and modern European-patterned wallpapers, the design creates a harmonious balance between classical and contemporary elements. The project, which earned a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, showcases innovative solutions such as glass partitions in the master bathroom to maximize views and natural light, while vintage furniture accessories complement the modern amenities, including state-of-the-art entertainment systems. This thoughtful renovation successfully addresses the challenge of implementing grandiose Haussmannian style within compact urban dimensions, creating a living space that honors historical architectural traditions while embracing contemporary functionality and aesthetic sensibilities.
