Modern Classic Residential Apartment

Modern Classic Residential Apartment

Modern Classic Residential Apartment is an exemplary interior design project that masterfully blends contemporary aesthetics with timeless classical elements, creating a sophisticated living space that spans 1,470 square feet. This meticulously crafted residential interior, recognized with an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, showcases an innovative approach to spatial organization through its thoughtful division into two primary zones: a main living area with kitchen annex and a bedroom with bathroom annex. The design's distinctive features include gracefully curved arch ceilings complemented by curved-edge furniture, creating a harmonious flow throughout the space. The interior's sophisticated milk-white color scheme, applied to both walls and furnishings, works in concert with a layered lighting design that incorporates overhead fixtures, eyeball downlights, adjustable magnetic track lights, wall lamps, and LED strips to cultivate a warm, inviting atmosphere. Natural marble elements, strategically incorporated into the TV cabinet, kitchen top, and backsplash, introduce subtle veining patterns that enhance the space's visual interest while maintaining its refined character. The project, completed in Penang, Malaysia, demonstrates exceptional attention to detail in its integration of lightweight forms, expansive openness, and meticulous material selection, resulting in an environment that successfully balances elegance with functionality while meeting contemporary technological aspirations and lifestyle needs.
