Modelhane Office

Modelhane Office

Modelhane Office is an innovative interior architectural project that seamlessly integrates office spaces with a production workshop, exemplifying a sophisticated approach to contemporary workspace design. The project, conceived and executed by three female architects, represents a harmonious blend of functionality and aesthetic refinement, characterized by its simple, light, and permeable spatial organization. The design philosophy centers on chronicling the journey of product development, from initial production to final presentation, through thoughtfully arranged spatial sequences. The interior architecture employs a minimalist aesthetic, utilizing an existing waffle structure ceiling, concrete elements, and an all-glass facade to create a transparent and cohesive environment. Distinguished by its unique approach to space separation, the design incorporates geometrically varied brick formations that maintain visual connectivity while defining distinct functional zones. The layout encompasses three primary areas: a meeting room with display area, workstations, and a cutting room, all arranged to optimize workflow efficiency. The project's innovative use of semi-permeable materials creates subtle distinctions between spaces while maintaining an open atmosphere, particularly evident in the separation between workstations and the cutting room. The design draws inspiration from laboratory and art gallery aesthetics, employing light colors throughout the space to highlight the products on display. This sophisticated approach earned the project a Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, recognizing its excellence in spatial design, material selection, and innovative approach to workplace architecture. The project, completed in March 2023 in Istanbul, demonstrates exceptional attention to detail in its integration of production processes with office functionality, while maintaining an artistic and gallery-like atmosphere that elevates the final products to art pieces.
