MM Hall Interior Design

MM Hall Interior Design is an award-winning architectural interior design project completed in Taiwan in 2016, exemplifying the harmonious integration of fashion-forward aesthetics with natural elements. The design concept revolves around the philosophy of Living in fashion, surrounding by the natural, achieved through the thoughtful incorporation of various natural scenery elements throughout different spaces. The reception hall serves as a striking focal point, featuring an interplay of light on marble surfaces and reflective materials, while the innovative use of metal lines and artificial translucent stone creates a sophisticated visual narrative that extends from the facade to the ceiling. The project, designed by Tzu-Cheng Cho, demonstrates exceptional spatial awareness through its tall and broad public spaces that seamlessly connect different levels, encouraging a natural flow of movement and aesthetic appreciation. A distinguishing feature of the design is its extensive use of French windows, which effectively blur the boundaries between indoor and outdoor spaces by incorporating garden views into the interior landscape. The design philosophy emphasizes material authenticity, deliberately avoiding excessive artificial modifications to maintain the inherent qualities of the materials used, resulting in a serene atmosphere that harmoniously blends spatial design with natural elements. This outstanding achievement in interior design was recognized with the Golden A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category in 2017, acknowledging its innovative approach to spatial design, material selection, and aesthetic execution.
