Memories Of Rose And Journey Of The Blue Space Decoration
Memories of Rose and Journey of the Blue Space Decoration is an evocative fine art installation that masterfully combines elements of traditional Japanese Ikebana with contemporary artistic expression, created by the distinguished artist Oyu. This dual-piece installation, recognized with an Iron A' Design Award in the Fine Arts and Art Installation Design category, draws its profound inspiration from the historical portrait of Marthe de Florian by Giovanni Bellini, weaving together themes of love, war, and human resilience. The installation consists of two complementary pieces: La Memoire De La Rose and La Voyage Bleu, each measuring 600mm x 200mm x 550mm, utilizing an innovative combination of dried flowers, artificial blooms, glass vessels, pearls, metal chains, acrylic board, and metal wire. The rose-colored arrangement symbolizes the glamorous pre-war Parisian era and represents love, while the blue composition embodies feminine strength and resilience during wartime adversity. Notable technical elements include the strategic placement of crystalline pearls symbolizing emotional tears, and the incorporation of the traveler's tree motif representing temporal transformation. The installation's sophisticated composition demonstrates a harmonious fusion of Eastern and Western aesthetic principles, with the curved floral elements deliberately positioned to guide viewers through a narrative journey. This work stands as a significant contribution to contemporary fine arts, exemplifying the intersection of historical narrative, emotional depth, and technical craftsmanship in spatial decoration.
