Meland Club Indoor Playground

Meland Club Indoor Playground

Meland Club Indoor Playground is an innovative interior architectural masterpiece that reimagines the concept of children's recreational spaces through a sophisticated fusion of educational content and entertainment design. This comprehensive 10,000-square-meter facility represents a groundbreaking approach to parent-child theme parks, integrating five major thematic zones - Insects, Oceans, Land, Sky, and Jungle - into a cohesive Wondrous Museum of Nature experience. The design, conceived by renowned Chinese architect Li Xiang, distinguishes itself through its unprecedented integration of architectural logic, artistic installations, and mechanical technological aesthetics, creating an environment that transcends traditional playground design paradigms. The space features a striking futuristic mechanical aesthetic that serves as both a design element and an educational tool, incorporating imagery of 60 extinct animals to promote environmental awareness and wildlife conservation. The facility's design philosophy emphasizes the deconstruction of rigid mechanical structures to create dynamic rhythmic beauty through static architectural elements, resulting in a sophisticated spatial narrative that appeals to both children and adults. This platinum A' Design Award-winning project, completed in September 2023 in Beijing, exemplifies excellence in interior space design through its multifaceted approach to family entertainment, combining elements of art appreciation, aesthetic education, popular science, and creative enlightenment. The design's innovative integration of mechanical aesthetics with interior construction and artistic decoration creates an immersive environment that not only entertains but also educates visitors about environmental conservation and natural history, establishing a new benchmark in the design of educational recreational spaces.
