Meishan East Town Centers and Base is an innovative architectural complex located in Guiping Town, Renshou County, Meishan City, serving as a cornerstone of the future Meishan East New Town development. This comprehensive urban facility, completed in January 2022, encompasses multiple civic and cultural spaces including a Citizen Service Center, Conference Center, Neighborhood Center, Talent Center, Library, and Enterprise Headquarters Base. The architectural design demonstrates a remarkable synthesis of form and function, characterized by its graceful curved exteriors and pristine white architectural skin that harmoniously integrates with the surrounding natural landscape. The project employs advanced construction techniques, utilizing glass fiber reinforced concrete (GRC) for its exterior surfaces and an innovative all-steel structural system, with the main steel structure featuring an impressive 40-meter spanning arc truss. The complex spans 144 meters in length, 74 meters in width, and reaches 17 meters in height, encompassing a total building area of 22,675 square meters. Following environment-friendly principles, the design preserves the existing topography while creating a fluid, accessible public space that serves multiple civic functions. The project, which earned a Golden A' Design Award in the Architecture, Building and Structure Design category, exemplifies sustainable urban development through its innovative approach to spatial organization, technological integration, and ecological sensitivity.
