Mei Shih De Space

Mei Shih De Space

Mei Shih De Space is an innovative interior retail design project completed in Taipei City, Taiwan in 2016, exemplifying a sophisticated approach to health-focused commercial space design. This 90-square-meter establishment, designed by Chih-Ching Chen, represents a revolutionary departure from conventional health dietary industry spaces through its thoughtful integration of geometric patterns, natural materials, and strategic lighting. The design's cornerstone lies in its masterful use of rectangular patterns and wooden elements, creating a harmonious atmosphere that seamlessly blends functionality with aesthetic appeal. The space features distinctive wooden ceiling frames, an information center, and carefully crafted product showcases that demonstrate both practical utility and design excellence. The interior's composition employs a deliberate contrast between white walls and robust wooden elements, effectively communicating the brand's commitment to health and natural living. Notable design elements include innovative lighting strips, linear entrance features, and wall-mounted square showcases that create an engaging visual narrative. The space incorporates organic elements such as fresh loofah displays and fitness equipment areas, fostering meaningful client interactions while maintaining an atmosphere of relaxation and wellness. This exceptional design work, which earned the Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category in 2017, successfully challenges traditional retail space conventions while maintaining a clear focus on customer experience and brand storytelling. The project's success lies in its ability to create an environment that not only serves its commercial purpose but also promotes a lifestyle centered on health and well-being through thoughtful spatial organization and material selection.
