Marbled Infinity Sales Center Reception is an award-winning architectural interior design project completed in 2019, located in downtown Taichung, Taiwan, serving as both a headquarters lobby and sales center for a prominent construction company. This sophisticated 248-square-meter space exemplifies minimalist design principles through its masterful integration of premium materials, particularly the striking use of Carrara white marble, which forms the centerpiece counter imported as a single monolithic piece. The design philosophy centers on breaking traditional spatial boundaries, creating an infinite visual perspective that evokes the serene beauty of a silver-white snowfield. The reception area's distinctive features include a seamlessly integrated marble counter that appears to emerge naturally from the floor, complemented by a black bench with elegant curvature that creates a compelling visual triangle. The space employs sophisticated material combinations including thin slab tiles, metallic laminate, and titanium-plated metal, while a notable technical achievement involves the strategic positioning of the weighty marble counter prior to floor construction. The design earned recognition with a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its innovative approach to spatial design and material application. The project's sophisticated interplay of light and shadow, enhanced by a stainless-steel mirror-covered pedestal that rotates at nightfall, creates a dynamic environment that transforms throughout the day, while the glass facade enables pedestrians to experience the space's tranquil beauty from the exterior, effectively blurring the boundaries between interior and exterior spaces.
