Mangrove Sales Center is an exemplary architectural and interior design project that masterfully embodies Zen philosophy and contemporary spatial design principles, completed in Shenzhen during 2015. The 168-square-meter space, designed by Raynon Chiu and team, represents a sophisticated approach to commercial interior architecture that harmoniously balances functionality with aesthetic serenity. The design's distinctive features include an innovative entrance waterscape that serves as a natural buffer against urban noise, creating a tranquil transition zone between the exterior and interior environments. The interior composition demonstrates exceptional material articulation through the thoughtful integration of gray artificial stone, Italian wood grain, black titanium, wood finishes, acrylic, and toughened glass, all of which contribute to its refined aesthetic. The space planning incorporates a ceremonial long table that connects the main hall to the negotiation area, establishing a strong sense of ritual and respect within the environment. Notable design elements include a sophisticated loft-style arrangement featuring shadow wooden gratings and white acrylic details, complemented by crystal hanging decorations and an artfully designed black pond that references traditional Chinese geomancy principles. The project, which earned the prestigious Gold A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, exemplifies excellence in commercial space design through its meticulous attention to detail, innovative space utilization, and successful integration of cultural elements with modern design sensibilities.
