Manfred Bingler
Manfred Bingler is a renowned Swiss artist who is known primarily for his oil paintings, watercolors, and lithographs. He is considered one of the premiere pioneers in the abstract expressionist movement, in which he explored the relationship between color, composition and emotion. Bingler's works often feature organic shapes, strong lines and vivid colors, and are often likened to those of Wassily Kandinsky and Willem de Kooning. His most famous works include the abstract canvases The Red Sun and The Blue Dusk, as well as the lithograph Abstract Water. Bingler has had numerous successful prestigious gallery shows, such as 'The Colors of Manfred Bingler' in Paris, that have further cemented his reputation as a standout artist.
