M Casa House
M Casa House is an innovative residential interior design project located in Hong Kong's New Territories, specifically within the private housing estate of Casa Marina. This contemporary 3,500-square-foot residence, spread across five distinct levels, exemplifies modern living through its sophisticated spatial organization and smart home integration. The design, conceived by Zeta Chu, represents a significant transformation of a traditional layout into an open-plan living space that harmoniously balances functionality with aesthetic appeal. The property encompasses three stories of living area, a carport, a roof, and a expansive 1,500-square-foot terrace-style garden. The interior design philosophy centers on creating a seamless flow between spaces while incorporating environmental-friendly materials and smart technology throughout. Notable features include a reconstructed stairway that maximizes the utility between living and dining areas, sensor-controlled lighting systems, and electronic railings. The neutral color palette, predominantly utilizing black, white, and charcoal tones, serves as a sophisticated canvas for personalization. The second story showcases bold design elements, including a band room with soundproofed graffiti murals, an apple green-themed bedroom, and a unique Lego-inspired bathroom. The project, which earned recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, demonstrates exceptional space utilization through concealed storage solutions and innovative structural modifications. The design successfully overcame significant challenges posed by the building's original structural walls, creating a harmonious living environment that caters to both family gatherings and entertainment purposes while maintaining individual privacy across different floors.
