Lypky Penthouse

Lypky Penthouse

Lypky Penthouse is a distinguished residential interior design project completed in Kyiv, Ukraine during 2018-2019, exemplifying sophisticated spatial organization and luxurious contemporary living. The 354-square-meter dwelling masterfully integrates two apartment levels into a cohesive living space, featuring a dramatic two-tiered atrium that serves as its architectural centerpiece. The design philosophy emphasizes a harmonious balance between communal and private spaces, with the ground floor dedicated to shared areas including a hall, living room with panoramic windows, kitchen, and home cinema, while the upper level houses the private master quarters. The interior design demonstrates a refined interpretation of classical techniques within a modern context, utilizing premium natural materials throughout. Notable design elements include radial-patterned marble in various hues that establishes the compositional axis of the first floor, a striking crystal cascading chandelier, and vertical onyx inserts that visually unite the atrium space. The sophisticated material palette extends to American walnut parquet flooring complemented by silk carpets, creating an atmosphere of refined comfort. The project required complex engineering solutions to achieve its distinctive atrium design, which significantly influenced the penthouse's final architectural character. This exceptional interior design project was recognized with a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category in 2020, acknowledging its outstanding contribution to residential interior design excellence.
