Loft Tropical Sensory showroom is an innovative architectural interior design project that masterfully combines residential comfort with exhibition space functionality. This sophisticated design solution divides the space into two distinct areas - social and intimate - connected by a reflecting pool lined with a striking green wall that serves both aesthetic and environmental purposes by reducing ambient temperature and enhancing comfort. The design's distinctive features include a transparent glass partition separating the bathroom/spa from the bedroom, strategically placed viewing holes in the drywall inspired by Duchamp's 'Etant donnes', and an iron structure covered with a mesh of opaque and translucent tiles that optimizes natural light utilization. The interior seamlessly integrates with the exterior through large glass planes and carefully selected materials, including Tecno-Cement flooring and gray lacquer joinery. The project's sensory experience is enhanced through thoughtful incorporation of various textures, sounds, and aromas throughout the space. The green wall, featuring American Fern species (Nephrolepis exaltata), creates a living connection to nature while maintaining environmental sustainability. This Bronze A' Design Award-winning project in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category demonstrates exceptional innovation in creating a harmonious balance between residential comfort and product showcase functionality, while incorporating sustainable design principles and artistic elements.
