Living And Forging Together Residential House

Living and Forging Together Residential House is an exemplary residential architectural and interior design project that masterfully integrates natural elements with contemporary living spaces, completed in 2017 in Taichung, Taiwan. The 217-square-meter property, designed by Chien-Neng Chang, represents a harmonious blend of minimalist aesthetics and environmental consciousness, featuring extensive semi-outdoor spaces that blur the distinction between interior and exterior environments. The design's distinctive characteristics include symmetrical floor-to-ceiling windows that optimize natural light penetration while creating dynamic visual perspectives between day and night illumination. The property's exterior is adorned with wood grilles and slate bricks, establishing a natural ambience that seamlessly integrates with the surrounding landscape. Interior spaces showcase sophisticated elements such as brown granite TV walls, bamboo mat benches, and wood grille ceiling decorations that define different functional areas while maintaining a contemporary Chinese-style aesthetic. The second floor houses a master bedroom decorated with an extensive wood screen design complemented by yarn curtains, while the study room features wood grille panels and emerald stone wall patterns that epitomize graceful humanity in design. This exceptional residential project, recognized with a Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, demonstrates outstanding achievement in spatial design, material selection, and environmental integration, setting a notable benchmark in contemporary residential architecture.
