Live With Art Residential Space

Live With Art Residential Space

Live with Art Residential Space is an innovative residential interior design project that exemplifies the harmonious integration of artistic elements with functional living spaces, completed in Taipei between 2012 and 2017. This sophisticated design solution prioritizes child safety through the implementation of curved lines and the deliberate absence of sharp edges throughout the space, while simultaneously maintaining an aesthetic inspired by yacht interiors and 1950s retro design elements. The interior scheme masterfully combines indigo blue and mahogany to create a tranquil atmosphere, enhanced by distinctive titanium-plated matte gold linear elements on the walls. The design's architectural ingenuity is evident in its clever use of space, featuring a TV wall that meets the ceiling beams at a precise 45-degree angle, complemented by strategically placed mirrors that create an illusion of expanded space while enhancing functionality. The layout demonstrates remarkable versatility through the implementation of functional cabinets and screens that serve as elegant dividers between the hallway, living room, and recreational areas, offering residents the flexibility to reconfigure spaces as needed. A notable feature is the multi-functional room's whiteboard, which serves as both a practical surface and an artistic canvas, exemplifying the project's commitment to merging functionality with aesthetic appeal. The design, which earned recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category in 2018, showcases exceptional attention to detail in its window and door treatments, contributing to its overall architectural cohesion and sophisticated ambiance.
