Created by designer Xianfeng Wu, this distinctive packaging solution draws inspiration from the renowned bamboo forests of Yibin, Sichuan Province, known as China's Bamboo Sea, where the tea originates. The design ingeniously translates the natural bamboo motif into a functional form factor, measuring 47mm x 47mm x 65mm, crafted from aluminum with a refined, elegant finish. The packaging's most notable feature is its ability to be overlapped and stacked, creating an artistic display that evokes the experience of walking through a bamboo forest, while simultaneously addressing practical concerns of space efficiency and logistics optimization. This sophisticated approach to tea packaging, completed in March 2019 after extensive material testing and manufacturer collaboration, represents a significant departure from traditional Chinese tea packaging conventions. The design successfully balances aesthetic appeal with functional considerations, incorporating environmental consciousness through its material selection and recyclability.
