Linear Lounge Lounge Bar

Linear Lounge Lounge Bar

Linear Lounge Lounge Bar is an award-winning hospitality design project that exemplifies sophisticated contemporary interior architecture through its innovative linear spatial planning and refined aesthetic composition. Located on the first level of a prominent hotel property in Pune, India, this elegantly conceived establishment spans 220 square meters and features a thoughtfully segmented layout that maximizes the linear dimensions of 33000 x 5600 millimeters. The design successfully addresses the challenge of a linear space through strategic zoning, incorporating a centrally positioned bar counter as the focal point, with an elevated lounge area distinguished by a two-step rise that creates distinct spatial hierarchy. The interior scheme employs a sophisticated palette of blacks, browns, and greys, punctuated by dramatic touches of red and crisp white, while the carefully curated display shelves showcase both fine art pieces and premium spirits. The venue's programming caters specifically to corporate clientele from the surrounding IT and industrial hub, offering various seating configurations including high bar seating, community tables, and a private dining room. Notable design features include the innovative use of light and shadow play to enhance the ambiance, and the integration of an open-air lounge and smoking area that utilizes the existing architectural canopy. Recognized with an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, this project demonstrates excellence in addressing practical constraints while creating an atmospheric environment that seamlessly blends sophistication with functionality.
