Libertango Room of Boutique Hotel is an innovative interior design project located in Seoul's Gangnam district, representing a masterful fusion of theatrical elements and spatial dynamics. Created by designer Seungmo Lim, this 41.36-square-meter boutique hotel room exemplifies sophisticated interior architecture through its dramatic use of movement, perspective, and thematic elements inspired by the passionate artistry of tango dancing and bullfighting. The design's conceptual foundation draws from the imagery of a woman dancing tango and a bullfighter's encounter with a black bull, manifested through a compelling interplay of materials including stainless steel, artificial marble, red leather, and golden fabric curtains. The space is characterized by its distinctive entrance tunnel, which creates a neutral transitional zone that manipulates visitors' spatial perception before revealing the room's dynamic interior. The design employs diagonal lines as a dominant architectural language, complemented by strategic lighting that emphasizes different spatial zones and their unique characteristics. Notable features include an L-shaped shower room with enhanced acoustics, a movable steel table integrated into the black wall, and a white table emerging from the floor.
