Korea Goheung Yuza Wine Packaging

Korea Goheung Yuza Wine Packaging is an innovative beverage packaging design that masterfully integrates cultural heritage with contemporary aesthetics, created by designer Jian Sun. This sophisticated packaging design, which earned recognition with a Silver A' Design Award in the Packaging Design category, draws inspiration from the legendary Three Kingdoms tale of Huan Xiong, embodying historical opulence through intricately carved detailing and complementary high-footed cups. The design features an eco-friendly walnut wood box that serves as both a protective container and a testament to sustainable packaging practices, measuring W 9mm x D 30mm x H 23mm. The packaging's aesthetic appeal is enhanced through advanced carving technology and precision molding techniques, creating a harmonious synthesis between traditional craftsmanship and modern production methods. Commemorating 30 years of cultural exchange, this design successfully bridges Eastern and Western design sensibilities while promoting the unique characteristics of yuzu wine, a specialty product known for its health benefits. The packaging system demonstrates exceptional attention to user experience, featuring intuitive operation and streamlined interaction with its various components, from the carefully engineered opening mechanism to the thoughtfully designed high-footed cups that enhance the drinking experience. The design's success lies in its ability to balance functional efficiency with cultural storytelling, creating a premium packaging solution that elevates the contained product while maintaining environmental consciousness.
