Kinema Active Chair Swivel Chair
kinema active chair Swivel Chair is an innovative ergonomic office furniture solution that revolutionizes traditional sitting concepts by integrating multiple posture possibilities into a single design. Developed by German designer Stefan Zoell, this groundbreaking chair addresses the health concerns associated with prolonged sitting by enabling a dynamic Stand-Sit-Support-Dynamic approach to office work. The chair's sophisticated mechanics, protected by international patents, facilitate a seamless transition between various sitting positions, with height adjustability ranging from 25.59 to 51.18 inches, making it exceptionally compatible with height-adjustable desks and conference tables. Its distinctive feature lies in the innovative mechanism that allows for a dynamic adjustment of seat inclination and pelvis position from -10 to +4 degrees, promoting healthy physiological posture and spinal alignment. The design incorporates an intelligent braking system that activates when the user's weight applies vertical pressure at heights starting from 680mm, ensuring stability and safety. The chair's minimalist design, featuring only two adjustable parts, emphasizes user-friendly operation while maintaining sophisticated functionality. This remarkable combination of ergonomic innovation and design excellence earned the chair a Silver A' Design Award in the Furniture Design category in 2017, recognizing its contribution to workplace wellness and ergonomic furniture design. The chair's development, spanning from 2014 to 2017, represents a significant advancement in addressing contemporary office health challenges, particularly the issues associated with sedentary work habits.
