Kano Eitoku

An esteemed Japanese artist of the 16th century, Kano Eitoku is renowned for his unique skill and sophistication. His art is characterised by a delicate, graceful elegance whose displays of technology and skill are a testament to the remarkable calibre of his work. Though he has gone down in history as one of the most illustrious members of the Kano school of painting, his art remains impressive and modern in its own right. Highly respected and influential in his era, some of his most renowned works include Dragon and clouds, Reed-leaf fence, and Fusuma decorations of Shochikubai.
