Julia Accent Chair is an innovative furniture design that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of artistic inspiration and functional craftsmanship, created by Filipino designer Mariel Nina Lazo. This meticulously engineered accent chair draws its conceptual origins from the playful manipulation of a circular paper armlet, reminiscent of a Möbius strip, which has been brilliantly translated into a three-dimensional seating solution. The chair's distinctive structure features precisely arranged ash wood slats radiating from its core, supported by worn black iron bars and screws, creating a visually striking composition that balances both form and function. Standing at 1232mm in width, 750mm in depth, and 910mm in height, the chair weighs 14.5 kg and demonstrates exceptional attention to detail in its construction, with carefully calculated measurements governing everything from the spacing between slats to the positioning of support holes.
